The product, a popular Japanese IP, uses branding and hype-building ads during pre-registration with official PVs and promotional materials. In the OB phase, the focus shifts from user acquisition via MAI and UAC 1.0 to paying users through AEO and UAC 2.5.

 

Creative:

Uma Musume, a popular anime and manga IP, has a large 2D fanbase. Promotional materials feature characters, voice acting, and animated PVs, with strict design oversight on colors, style, and elements.

🏆 Final Gear (2D)

 

Strategy:

We ran ads on Facebook and Twitter, initially focusing the budget on MAIA. Based on the first three days’ ROI, we prioritized Facebook and reduced Twitter. Later, we removed underperforming ads to optimize ROI.

 

Creative:

In Europe and North America, interest in mechs and battles was strong, so our materials highlighted mechs, upgrades, parts, and battles. Mech assembly and combat videos performed well in ads.
